A German Shepherd's Puppy Games

I have a lot of toys I play with from time to time.  My Mum says I have a short attention span.

One game I love is playing ball with Mum and Dad. They play 'piggy in the middle'.  I am the piggy.  I love running between them trying to catch the ball.  Sometimes I get 'pooped', and have to lay down for a while, but Mum and Dad keep playing and it's not long before I am on my feet and joining in again.

Another thing I love playing with is Mum's pot plants.  I grab the pot, run down the back yard and rip out the plant with my teeth.  The dirt falls out and I love squishing my toes into it and grabbing some in my mouth.  Of course, after that, there is nothing better than to grab the now empty pot and run around the yard with it in my mouth.

Another thing I play with is newspapers and catalogues.  Mum and Dad sometimes get catalogues from the letter box.  I thought they'd be okay to play with, because Mum and Dad call them junk mail.  But now I've learnt I have to wait until Mum and Dad have decided which ones I can have.  I love ripping them to pieces.  I really look forward to the days when the junk mail arrives.  I get so excited and run around in circles.  Then when I get them, oh boy!  I grab them and run away and lie on my bed for hours, ripping them up.  The next day though, when I'm outside, they all disappear.  I think Mum must pick them up and throw them away.  So then I have to wait for the next lot to arrive.

I do the same with newspapers.  Sunday is a really good day.  Once I grabbed the paper before Mum and Dad had looked at it.  That wasn't a good idea - I got roused out.  I hate getting roused at.  Mum and Dad told me that I have to wait.  So now, on Sunday, I sit and wait patiently until Mum and Dad have finished reading the paper and then they give the papers and catalogues to me and boy, do I have fun.  I will post a photo of me having fun with Sunday papers.

That's all I can think for now.
